The “Litana Group” is one of the major companies in the Baltic Region, providing contracting services in the field of shipbuilding and ship repair for more than 15 years. Currently we employ over 400 specialists, who are able to carry out welding works, assemble ship blocks and hull, install various equipment, prefabricate and install various pipe systems and ventilation systems, perform insulating and painting works, carry out full scope of interior outfitting works. Company is a Member of Association of Lithuanian Shipbuilders and Repairers, which is the member of corresponding International European Association established as early as 1937. In April 2004, the company implemented the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000 and the Environmental Management System ISO 14001. The Company’s employees are qualified specialists, whose average service record in the European shipbuilding yards is 7-10 years. All the welders of “Litana Group” are certified by the Lloyd’s Register, DNV and Bureau Veritas. We are able to provide a very wide range of contracting services in the customer’s premises in shortest terms without any compromise to the highest quality standards. One more important feature is flexibility: we can accept any way of cooperation (fixed lump sum price per project, hourly payment or price per weight unit) and can take full responsibility for organization (we provide site managers, foremen for our team), infrastructure (transportation, accommodation, equipment) for our teams in any European country.
STEEL WORKS: production of sections, building of blocks and grand-blocks, hull assembly in the dock

Specialists of “Litana Group” are able to carry out full scope of assembly and welding works on all stages of hull steel works: production of panels and sections, building of blocks and grand-blocks, hull assembly in the dock or on the slip. The works can be performed in the workshops or outside. At the moment we have around 150 steelworkers, working in Lithuania, Finland, France and Spain. Welders are certified for one or few processes (111, 123, 124, 135, 136) by Lloyd’s Register, DNV and Bureau Veritas.
PIPING WORKS AND OUTFITTING OF THE HULL

“Litana Group” has a huge experience in prefabrication and installation of different types of pipelines of various diameters (from 6 mm to 2,5 m) and materials (steel, inox, copper, PVC). Our specialist can also perform installation of HVAC systems. Our productive capacities in Lithuania allow us to prefabricate up to 50-70 tons of steel pipes per month. The pipes can be painted or galvanized according to the needs of customers. At the moment “Litana Group” employs around 120 pipe fitters and welders, working in Lithuania, Finland, France and Spain. Pipe welders are certified for one or few processes (111,136,141) by Lloyd’s Register, DNV and Bureau Veritas. The same team can carry out full scope of hull outfitting works and install ship doors, portholes, hatches, ladders, guard railings, ventilation louvers etc.
INTERIOR OUTFITTING AND COMPLETE INSTALLATION OF SHIP PREMISES

“Litana Group” is an experienced contractor in the field of ship interior’s outfitting. Our skilled personnel allows us to provide wide range of interior outfitting services, including: installation of modular bulkheads and ceilings, flooring services (from floating floors to carpet and teak decking), delivery and installation of all types of furniture, complete galley installations, fitting and installation of sanitary cabins and wet-units, plumbing services, fitting and connection of electrical equipment and alarm systems. Presently “Litana Group” employs 30 specialists, who constantly carry out interior outfitting works in superstructures built in Shipbuilding Yard “BALTIJA” (Klaipeda, Lithuania), member of Maersk Group.
INSULATION AND PAINTING WORKS

“Litana Group” can carry out a wide range of insulation works on board the vessels: heat, fire-resistant and cold insulation, sound insulation. Our specialists performed insulation of steel hull constructions, pipelines of all systems and any diameters, insulation of exaust systems of boilers and engine rooms. Our specialists can work with any type of stone wool, „K-flex“ elastomeric insulation products, polyurethane foam and insulating mattresses. At the moment we employ a team of 25 specialists, who perform insulation works in Shipbuilding Yard «BALTIJA». “Litana Group” has a team of 25 specialists who can carry out all stream cleaning, blasting and painting operations for ship building needs. “Litana Group” aims to provide services of anticorrosive protection of high-quality ships and metal constructions in accordance with the highest current quality standards. To reach this goal we work with products of well known leading companies like „Hempel“, „Clemco“ and others. Our specialists are used to work with epoxy, acrylic, zinc-silicone, polyurethane paints and airless paint spray equipment.
SHIP REPAIR

“Litana Group” has a huge experience in providing contractor services for European ship repair yards. High qualification of personnel enables our company to participate in technically complicated projects and conversions. Specialists of “Litana Group” are able to carry out steelwork, piping, painting and interior outfitting works for ship repair needs. At the moment we employ 50 experienced ship repair specialists, who work in Finland, Spain, Sweden and Norway.
