In just 15 years, the Litana Group has grown to the extent that it is now the leading shipbuilding and ship repair specialist contractors within the Baltic Region.
Employing over 400 specialists, we carry out:

With an average service record of 7-10 years in European shipbuilding yards, all our employees are qualified specialists. For example, all welders are certified by Lloyd’s Register, DNV and Bureau Veritas.
Our success lies in providing great organization linked to a high level of qualification/responsibility together with flexibility. If required, contracting services can be carried out in the customer’s premises at the shortest notice without compromising agreed and contracted quality standards.
We also provide variable payment options - one payment per project, hourly payment or price per weight unit. All include full responsibility for organization (we provide site managers, foremen for our team), infrastructure (transportation, accommodation, equipment) for our teams in any European country
STEEL WORKS: Sections, building blocks and grand-blocks, in-dock hull assembly

“Litana Group” specialists can carry out complete assembly and welding works on all stages of hull steel works: production of panels and sections, building of blocks and grand-blocks, hull assembly in the dock or on the slip.
Dependant on requirements we can either work in workshops or outside. Currently, over 150 steelworkers are working on sites in the EU (Lithuania, Finland, France and Spain). Welders are certified for one or several processes (111, 123, 124, 135, and 136) by Lloyd’s Register, DNV and Bureau Veritas.
PIPING WORKS AND OUTFITTING OF THE HULL

Litana has a proven track-record and enormous experience in prefabricating and installing a wide variety of pipelines in differing diameters (from 6 mm to 2.5 m) and materials (steel, inox, copper, PVC). We also install HVAC systems.
Within our specialist and highly productive plant in Lithuania we prefabricate up to 50-70 tons of steel pipes per month. According to requirements, they can be painted or galvanized.
At the moment our, 120 and growing, fitters and welders, work in Lithuania, Finland, France and Spain. Pipe welders are certified for one or more processes (111,136,141) by Lloyd’s Register, DNV and Bureau Veritas.
The same teams carry out full scope of hull outfitting works and install ship doors, portholes, hatches, ladders, guard railings, ventilation louvers, etc.
FITTING OUT AND INSTALLING SHIP’S INTERIORS

We employ over 30 full time interior fitting out specialists working in superstructures built in Shipbuilding Yard “BALTIJA” (Klaipeda, Lithuania), member of Maersk Group.

INSULATION AND PAINTING

We also work with any type of stone wool, K-flex elastomeric insulation products, polyurethane foam and insulating mattresses.
The “Litana Group” painting services in ship building and repair includes pre-blasting and steam cleaning to provide high-quality and long-lasting anticorrosive protection (epoxy, acrylic, zinc-silicone, polyurethane paints and application with airless paint spray equipment) in accordance to highest quality standards.

Our skilled and highly qualified 50 plus dedicated repair specialists enable us to complete technically complicated projects and conversions.
Within the “Litana Group” we carry out ship repairs involving steelwork, piping, painting and interiors. At the moment we are carrying out repairs on vessels in Finland, Spain and France.
